Pedro Carlos edit

About "He [Pedro Carlos] doesn't put in question the validity of the renunciation". How could I bring a source of it? The non-existence of any known struggle started by him is enough. The one who declares the existence of a supposed struggle is the one who must bring sources. Until there, the phase is true and must be said. Anyway, would be non-sense declare himself as Head of Imperial Family and a republican at the same time.

Fair use rationale for Image:Brazilian Emperors Coat of Arms Complete.jpg edit

Image:Brazilian Emperors Coat of Arms Complete.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Saxe-Coburg and Bragança Line edit

Why are the the Saxe-Coburg-Kohary Line listed at all here? Were they rival claimaints to the main line? And who are the Tasso de Saxe-Coburgo e Bragança?--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 00:20, 25 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Seperation edit

I think that this article needs to be seperated and elaborated on. I propose its seperation into three pages:

  • Imperial House of Brazil or Imperial House of Braganza or House of Brazil - which would cover the history of the House of Braganza in Brazil during the time which it was infact a pure House of Braganza under the Emperors Pedros and possibly under titular Empress Isabel.
  • House of Orleães-Bragança or House of Orléans-Braganza - which would cover the history history from Titular Empress Isabel and the eventual split of the house in to the two individual rival branchs we have now.
  • Brazilian Imperial Family- which would talk a little on the dynastic dispute and list the members of the individual branches.

This article in its current state is mix mashed and very disorganized. The information was just thrown here and I think that this separation will allow the individual subjects to grow and flourish alongside giving organization. Thank you, Cristiano Tomás (talk) 05:16, 7 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

As no one has objected, I shall start on the work. Thank you, Cristiano Tomás (talk) 06:16, 13 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Brazilian imperial family edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Brazilian imperial family's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 23:14, 5 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
