Distance figures between Ashford and Brabourne were prevously inaccurate. New figures derived from Google Local and Multimap. As per referemces section just added. Jonathan 23:34, 9 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fine, but it only refers to the village centre itself, and not the surrounding parish, although the population figure does Peter Shearan 18:29, 24 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Brabourne has a connection to a major poet. The two daughters of Sir Robert Gower were born in Brabourne (Katherine in 1340; Joan in 1342). ^[1]Rdmoore6 (talk) 17:24, 3 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

^ Documentation about the poet's birthplace does not exist. Sir Robert Gower (uncle of John Gower) was buried at the church of St Mary the Blessed Virgin in Brabourne.
