Fixed points or zeros?

What's a "fixed point" of a vector field? Shouldn't we be talking about the zeros of the vector field? John Baez (talk) 07:33, 16 April 2023 (UTC)

I should check the reference but I think you’re right. Fixed points here are meant to be stationary points; i.e., zeros of vector fields. —- Taku (talk) 11:36, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
