Business model?

bill.com sounds like a really nice company, what with all that helping the consumer, but how do they make money? Some hard facts would improve this article. I found a site that says "The firm makes money by taking a share of the savings it achieves for its clients", but certainly there is more to it than that. Bills.com makes money by matching site visitors with service providers who have solutions to help their visitor’s specific needs. If, for example, the visitor is researching mortgage information on the Bills.com site, they can quickly access an inquiry form (called a “Savings Request”) which they submit to Bills.com, and in return, Bills.com matches the applicant with mortgage lenders and brokers that can help the applicant’s specific situation. The applicant is not charged for this service, so Bills.com makes money when the service provider (mortgage lender or broker) pays Bills.com for the applicant’s savings request. This becomes a lead for the service provider.
