I find this article confusing, because the text says biangular coordinates are a coordinate system for the plane where A and B are two fixed points, and the position of a point P not on the line AB is determined by the angles PAB and PBA., but the diagram has no point B, instead calling it -a. - Well, now the text still refers to 'the line AB', but the diagram has no 'point A', nor a 'point B'. I would modify the text myself except I don't feel qualified as I'd never even heard of the term till I came here by way of the random article link. Dlabtot (talk) 15:44, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

- Much better. But I do have some more comments, if you're up for them...not sure why you went with C1 and C2 instead of a and b... why is there an x and y-axis? just to connect this to a Cartesian plane? it seems unnecessary. I'm also not sure what is the significance of -a and a. And a question: Is there a way to refer to the position of a point (other than C1 or C2) on the line C1C2 using biangular coordinates?Dlabtot (talk) 04:26, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

- My main contribution is to translate articles from Enlish to Chinese. While I was translating this stub article, I found that there was no accompanying diagram for the article. With a diagram, it would be easier too understand the material. Now, I am not a geometry expert. I am not sure what's the most economic way to express this material in a way best facilitate people to read and understand the material. So, it would better to leave the major editing job to others. I think there are many people who can do a much better job than I can. In other words, I only do minor editing in English articles. Thurth (talk) 05:22, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Additional reading edit
The 1950 thesis by Howard Baeumler, titled "Biangular Coordinates" was listed in what was the "References" section, but it is not actually a reference, per se, so I removed it. It is listed at World Cat but does not seem to be available online anywhere. Doctormatt (talk) 06:32, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
