Reg KhatushyamjiEdit

Removed "Khatushyamji" related info

  • 1 - Mahabharata has no mention of any "Khatushyamji" figure.
  • 2 - Seems like user's personal POV.

User needs to corroborate facts from Hindu literature viz Vedas/Sutras/Puranas etc.

Info about KhatushyamjiEdit

It has been mentioned in Mahabharat about "Khatushyamji". In TV Serial "Mahabharat Katha" which is the modification of "Mahabharat" it has been mentioned. He had very important role in Mahabharat. Whoever has removed information about Khatushyamji, i think he does not have more knowledge about Mahabharat. Refer link: or Khatushyamji.

Bhima's parentsEdit

Perhaps worth mentioning his parents as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 02:06, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

This article has many issues:

  • Short paras that can be merged: violation of Wikipedia:LAYOUT#Paragraphs
  • "addresses the main aspects of the topic":
    • Suddenly "Along with other Pandava brothers, ... " after birth. Pandu's death and return to Hastinapur is missing.
    • Another gap: After lac-palace incident, Pandavas were presumed death. Even winning Draupadi in disguise. then their return to Hastinapur
    • Slaying of Hidimba
  • Neutrality: facts included in the article only glorify him, but other facts missed:
    • Killing Duryodhana by hitting on thigh against rules of combat
    • defeated by Karna in the war, where Bhima was struck unconscious but Karna spared his life owing his promise to Kunti
  • Prose:
    • Lists in "During the Kurukshetra War" need to be converted to prose.
    • "Thanks to Vidura, the Pandavas ... " Informal. Incorrect tone

IMO, the GA nomination should be withdrawn. Redtigerxyz Talk 05:45, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

  • Thanks for the input, @Redtigerxyz... Will update these in a while. Azhagiya manavalan (talk) 04:27, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

Killing KauravasEdit

Bhima actually killed 99 Kauravas. Bhima didnt kill Yuyutsu. Yuyutsu fought on behalf of Pandavas. Karna DV (talk) 10:08, 1 December 2019 (UTC)

There were 102 Kaurava, not 100. 100 sons of Gandhari + Gandhari's daughter Dushala and Dhritrashtra's illegitimate son Yuyutsu.💠245CMR💠.👥📜 07:17, 6 December 2020 (UTC)

Citations for alternative names?Edit

We need citations for the definitions of his alternate names. Jihnmayodhin is said here to mean "fighter against falsehoods," but most sources online say it actually means "unfair/unmoral fighter," (Jihnma = morally crooked; Yodhin = fighter, according to these sources), referring to when he broke the rules of combat. DaCashman (talk) 06:56, 3 January 2020 (UTC)

Much better sourcing is required for this article. As it is now, the article relies way too heavily on individual opinion and primary sourcing. Best, Kevin (aka L235 · t · c) 01:49, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
