name? edit

Wrong name, Esteban shouldn't have an accent. --the Dúnadan 05:00, 30 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Page should be moved then. -- Kguirnela 03:43, 31 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Spanish page confirms no accent, so I've done the move - and fixed all the double redirects. seglea 00:30, 1 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

date of birth? edit

An anon has changed the year of birth from 1617 to 1618. Anyone know which is right? I have switched it back for now since the Spanish page has 1617. seglea 21:42, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

The truth is that we don't know for certain. All we know is that he was baptised on 1 January 1618 [1]. He may have been born earlier that day, or the previous day 31 December 1617, or earlier than that. We cannot state, as we do currently, that he was definitely born 31 December 1617. I'm making the appropriate change. -- JackofOz (talk) 06:47, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
And check place of death. This one is not correct. --Finn Bjørklid (talk) 23:35, 15 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
It's correct according to every source that's at hand. Ewulp (talk) 01:35, 16 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Velazquez? edit

Is Murillo no longer thought to have spent time in Velazquez's studio? Albiart (talk) 05:36, 12 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
