Stop this absurdity

Please, somebody, stop this absurdity. The Arabic language / alphabet has never been used in this region, and is not used today. Stop adding here the name of the city in the Arabic scrypt.

It is unlikely that you get a response if you start discussions at individual talk pages. If you want to get a responce, it must be an RFC, see WP:RfC, and I would suggest Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style as a more appropriate location. However, please make sure you have read the policies before starting the RfC (WP:MOSGEO to start with). So far, your arguments were not policy-based, and people usually do not like when their time is wasted.--Ymblanter (talk) 16:24, 16 March 2020 (UTC)

Ymblanter Lol, I was banned from editing the article, and given a few warnings, unlike you. You just thoughtlessly correct my edits, and use your administrator status, all other moderators, although they admitted that they do not understand this at all, have come to your side. You claim without evidence and facts that the Arabic scrypt is used in this country (absolutely all the inhabitants of this country will tell you that this is complete nonsense), therefore, it’s not for you to talk about evidence. What evidence do you need? That such a scrypt is not used? This is nonsense, how should it look? You must provide evidence that this alphabet is used, not me. I have no desire to participate in this delusional discussion, in which other moderators will definitely take your side. Instead, I want you to search the Internet about the Arabic alphabet in Kazakhstan. We have an essay about your behavior, WP:ICANTHEARYOU. You have been explained by multiple users that what you allege is factually wrong and/or irrelevant, but you continue to allege it. Ymblanter I am surprised how strange all the same people have administrator status. They said, "I'm not an expert on this." Now, I literally quoted them, now you justify your words. Who wrote that I'm wrong? If you again start to avoid my questions, then the conversation is over. Have you answered at least one of my questions? @Roxy, it doesn't need one; this is an article about a Kazakh topic, and as such we always give the spelling in the Latin, Cyrillic and Arabic alphabets. (For complicated reasons owing to various partitions of the area, the same language uses the three different scripts depending on whether the speaker is in Kazakhstan, China or Mongolia; it's explained at Kazakh language.) ‑ Iridescent 21:10, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

Wikipedia is not a reliable source, so Kazakh language doesn’t cut the mustard. At iridescents yes link, there is no consensus. Hmmm. Roxy, the PROD. . wooF 21:58, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

My message was initially that since the Arabic script names have been in the articles for ages, and since there are at least some plausible arguments to keep them, mass removal with edit-warring is not really an appropriate course of action. After an ANI discussion and warnings by multiple users, the user finally stopped removing the names and started this discussion. As a response (my first message in this very topic) I said that the discussion is more general than about this particular page, and suggested an appropruate page, but a day later, we are still there.--Ymblanter (talk) 22:14, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
