translation problems edit

Hello MatthewVanitas, thank you for cleaning up my English.[1]. However, can you help me with the translation of Beteiligt waren Hamburger und Bremer „Persönlichkeiten“ und das Großkapital? "Großkapital" is not "the financiers", but something like "big business", or "large companies, corporations or trusts", or also large bankers like e.g. the Rothschilds. "Groß" is "big" and "kapital" is "capital". The word "Großkapital" is both used for the companies or banks themself and the people who own them, i.e. in this case the latter one. Thus the sentence should be translated as something like "Involved were Hamburg and Bremen notables and big business." However, the words "Beteiligt waren" may also be translated as "Investors were", so may be "Investors were Hamburg and Bremen notables and big business people." --Cyfal (talk) 13:17, 8 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
