Vandalism edit
Could anybody please correctly remove the vandalism on the bottom of this page? (references section). I'm not sure how to remove it without killing the page (because of all the tags)
Poor Image edit

Image Mistake(s)? edit
It looks like the image 'Diagram of an Artery" has flipped the identity of the basement membrane and the internal elastic lamina. I don't know how to change it, assuming that I am correct. Ihfish (talk) 17:52, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
Misplacement of sentences? edit
It seems to me that the 2nd paragraph of the Structure section has a sentence misplaced, specifically "The elastic tissue allows the artery to bend and fit through places in the body."
I suspect that sencence should be placed directly following the first sentence in the following current text: " Inside this layer is the tunica media, or media, which is made up of smooth muscle cells, elastic tissue (also called connective tissue proper) and collagen fibres.[2] The innermost layer, which is in direct contact with the flow of blood, is the tunica intima, commonly called the intima. The elastic tissue allows the artery to bend and fit through places in the body. This layer is mainly made up of endothelial cells (and a supporting layer of elastin rich collagen in elastic arteries)."
My concern is that the last sentence in this section, "This layer is mainly made up.." should clearly(?) refer to the intima, not to the elastic tissure, which is what this last sentence currently follows directly after in the original wording?
Shouldn't this section read, "Inside this layer is the tunica media, or media, which is made up of smooth muscle cells, elastic tissue (also called connective tissue proper) and collagen fibres.[2] (This) elastic tissue allows the artery to bend and fit through places in the body. The innermost layer, which is in direct contact with the flow of blood, is the tunica intima, commonly called the intima. This layer is mainly made up of endothelial cells (and a supporting layer of elastin rich collagen in elastic arteries)."
(I placed the word "This" preceding "elastic tissue" in parentheses because the original text said "The", in order to show that I changed that word to make a better reference to the preceding sentence. Of course the parentheses should be removed.)
And perhaps the Structure section text should indicate the existence of both internal and external elastic lamina, to follow the diagram of the artery? UnderEducatedGeezer (talk) 00:40, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
