Former good article nomineeArnold Schwarzenegger was a Social sciences and society good articles nominee, but did not meet the good article criteria at the time. There may be suggestions below for improving the article. Once these issues have been addressed, the article can be renominated. Editors may also seek a reassessment of the decision if they believe there was a mistake.

In the "Order of precedence" succession box at the bottom of the article, please replace Al Quie with Arne Carlson, as Quie is now deceased. 98.228.137.44 (talk) 14:57, 19 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Requested update to the "Family" section in the bottom navigation edit

At the bottom of the page for Arnold Schwarzenegger, please add a link to Joseph Baena in the "Family" section. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Baena

This is not new material. Joseph Baena is already listed as his biological son elsewhere on the page. The requested edit is intended to make the page internally self-consistent.

I think that the bottom navigation section, which appears in purple on the page, may be referred to as a "template" in wikipedia parlance. Hilarionl (talk) 02:27, 21 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

This passage from source 105 is worded poorly, making the statement incorrect. It currently reads:

"At the 2004 Republican National Convention, Schwarzenegger gave a speech and explained that he was a Republican because he believed the Democrats of the 1960s sounded too much like Austrian socialists."[105]

After reviewing the source material, the passage should read as follows:

"At the 2004 Republican National Convention, Schwarzenegger gave a speech and explained that he was a Republican because he believed the Democrats sounded too much like Austrian socialists of the 1960s."[105]

He referenced that present day Democrats sound like Austrian Socialists and he talks about being in Austria in the 1960s. He does not bring up Democrats of the 1960s. 50.27.174.180 (talk) 23:53, 6 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Having read through it a few times, I think the current wording is correct. He's talking about what happened in 1968. He listened to (his friend's translation of) Humphrey, then heard (his friend's translation of) Nixon, and decided to be a Republican. So it was the 1968 Democratic nominee that reminded him of Austrian socialists. Schazjmd (talk) 00:01, 7 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Under Environmental record, his contribution to founding the international NGO Climate Group.

"In 2003, Arnold Schwarzenegger founded the international NGO and non-profit, Climate Group, alongside British Prime Minister Tony Blair." Chiron the Editor (talk) 12:07, 11 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

The Guardian article doesn't say that he was involved in the founding of the Climate Group. The original statement in the article is "... a meeting in Long Beach organised by Steve Howard, CEO of the Climate Group, an international charity working to cut greenhouse gas emissions...". Add award link edit

I want to add the Kids Choice Award for Favourite Movie Actor in Awards for Arnold Schwarzenegger, but when I add it and test preview, it replaces some links with this: “The time allocated for running scripts has expired.” What does that mean and how an I doing to add the link to the page?
