Axillism versus "armpit fetishism" edit

I keep finding sources that state that axillism, which redirects here, involves direct use of the armpit for sex, but isn't specifically defined as "armpit fetishism." Not sure where to go with the article regarding this....should we create a new article or..? SarahStierch (talk) 09:18, 25 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

And keep in mind, a fetish for armpits is called "maschalagnia", while having sex with an armpit, per se, is called axillism. SarahStierch (talk) 09:19, 25 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Have added specifics on axillism to page; agree separate article may be justified in time, surely not enough material yet...Jacobisq (talk) 10:32, 12 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
NB There is also a separate redirect for Axillary intercourse to a quite different (if short) coverage of the topic.....Jacobisq (talk) 08:51, 14 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
Jacobisq, I redirected that term here yesterday after I saw this edit by you at its previous redirect. Since you've created a section on that aspect of armpit fetishism for this article, which has more material on it, it makes more sense for that term to redirect here. Not to mention...it is confusing to WP:Pipelink that term to this article, if the redirect points to that article. And since addressing the topic of the penis being in the armpit is there as well, the coverage is the same; the difference is that the other article mentions bagpipes. Other than that, the difference may be whether or not to call all acts of axillism "fetishism" (meaning sexual fetishism); by that, I mean that there are conflicting definitions about what is a sexual fetishism vs. partialism. Why only female armpits? edit

Is there a reason why this whole article concentrates only on female armpits? Do all these sources exclude males? --Xario (talk) 14:05, 26 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
