Anne Lamott/Great Live Interview edit

I've been researching some authors and came across a wonderful live interview with Anne Lamott. I think it would be beneficial for anyone who wanted to know more about the author and her life and writing. She's very witty and open. I've attached the link and would like permission from this community to post the interview on her page. http://www.victorialautman.com/ontherecord.shtml#lamott Corkyshag (talk) 20:20, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Her fan page (listed in the links section) no longer exists.

Have you heard her interview on Mindrolling? Soltera (talk) 14:15, 9 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, her nonfiction works are largely autobiographical.

What is based in the Bay Area-- Lamott or her non-fiction works? Marnanel (talk) 09:40, 7 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Removal of section about Caitlyn Jenner controversy edit

Hi there. I removed the section about Caitlyn Jenner because it was poorly sourced and gave the impression it was an ongoing conflict (use of continuing present tense when Lamott very quickly changed her position in response to criticism) https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons&redirect=yes#Remove_contentious_material_that_is_unsourced_or_poorly_sourced Unless someone followed the reference (which, by the way, was a blog post), I think they would have got the impression that Lamott continues to be dismissive of trans issues. The exchange also really doesn't seem to me to be a significant enough part of her personal life, or something that had a significant enough cultural impact, for it to be included in her Wikipedia article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.138.154.119 (talk) 12:26, 25 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
