Is Anjuvannan a synonym for Anjuvannam? If so, should there be a redirect from Anjuvannam to this article?

Is Anjuvannam just another name for the Cochin Jews? If not, what's the relationship?

The reason I tagged the article for a cleanup is that it's unclear what the article is about. And the section "Copper plate given to Anjuvannam" may be notable but doesn't seem to merit being the central piece; shouldn't that be a description of the history or culture?

Anjuvannam

Anju-varnam means fifth caste in malayalam. Anju vannan (strictly speaking) denotes a masculine gender person of Anjuvannam. In effect, however one may consider them to be synonyms.

You have a point here. This is indeed an archaic expression for the Cochin Jews.( Although the Christians and Muslims of Cochin did not form a part of the 4 caste Hindu system, they were referred to specifically as Mappilla or by their religious identity), and hence the term Anjuvannan efffectively meant the Cochin Jews of yore.

What ? Jews are principal caste ?

Jews are Children of Israel they are not a caste.

Jews are Children of Yisrael or House of Judah.

Jews are not xtians.

Jews practice Judaism the religion of the Torah the revelation at Mount Sinai.
