FUNDING edit
If other Journal's, Institute's and Organization's fundings have to be put on their Wiki page i.e. Heartland Institute and any organization that does not subscribe to the "official" opinions, why is it not required here? People feel the need to post who funds the anti-global warming journals, institutes and organizations, or any "controversial" subjects' organization. Yet it is almost completely avoided when it involves any other institutes. Full disclosure: I am an employee of the American Geosciences Institute. I am suggesting edits because (1) some of the content is out of date and now factually inaccurate, (2) the article has been flagged as in need of an infobox, and (3) the article is rated as a stub.
AGI is now a federation of 51 associations[1] representing over 250,000 scientists[2] (c.f. 45 representing 100,000, as the article currently says). The AGI logo[3] has now also changed, so the image on the Wikipedia page should be updated.
The infobox for this page could be modeled after that of the American Geophysical Union. We will not provide any original content for the body of the article due to obvious conflict of interest issues. Not done. The article needs third-party sources for verification; currently there are none. This or a similar request could be re-submitted with citations to such sources. —Sangdeboeuf (talk) 10:50, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
