edit

"By integral parts, it is meant that they have their deputies (representatives) in the French National Assembly" to my knowledge that was the case, Pierre Lagaillarde was Deputy of Algiers... Cliché Online (talk) 10:26, 2 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

seems more and more this article is BS. famous adolphe crémieux was deputy of algiers. french algeria departements were integral parts of france. Cliché Online (talk) 10:53, 3 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Merge to French Algeria?

edit

I agree with the proposal. --Mistakefinder (talk) 10:25, 22 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Same here, unless French Algeria was actually only officially Algerie and Algerie francaise was only a slogan. Then the fork makes sense. — LlywelynII 10:48, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

four dots and a dash?

edit

First, this needs a source. Second, I was told it was al-ge-rie (three dots) fran-caise (2 dashes).

A source would settle the issue. My idea is total hearsay. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.235.83.184 (talk) 19:37, 6 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

or perhaps 3 dots and 2 dashes because in a word each syllable is given the same length in French. So the four dots and a dash wouldn't agree with that either. Very curious to see if someone can find a source on this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.48.231.155 (talk) 17:53, 13 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
