Just a question: In the article, it says that this Shah was deposed in 1925, and it's stated in the last paragrapgh that there was an offer made by the Ottoman Sultan to restore him to the throne. How come? I mean, in 1925, we didn't have an Ottoman Sultan.

Raza Khan fanclub?

Please avoid using this page to talk about how great another emperor was in comparison to this one.

It is simple, Reza Khan deposed Ahmad Shah Qajar in a coup. What Reza did with regards to policy making belongs on his page and not Qajar’s. JasonMoore (talk) 02:41, 7 May 2020 (UTC)

Death of Ahmad Shah Qajar

Can information pertaining to the cause or nature of Ahmad Shah Qajar's death be found? The article states that he died in 1930 without stating how. I'll try to find some information as soon as I'm able. VideōEtCorrigō (talk) 09:06, 14 July 2022 (UTC)

Sulṭán Aḥmad Sháh, succeeded to the Throne of Persia, July 18, 1909

While setting up The Persian Revolution of 1905-1909 (1910) by Edward Granville Browne for transcription over on Wikisource, I came across the photo on the right of this article's subject. It's an early photo and illustrates well how young he actually was when he succeeded to the throne, so I thought it'd be a good image to use for this article. But since the article is pretty overloaded with images as it is I don't think it can be reasonably added, and I didn't want to just waltz in and replace one of the existing images. So, leaving it as a note here for regulars / someone actually familiar with the area.

Incidentally, The Persian Revolution of 1905-1909 (1910) by Edward Granville Browne may also be useful as a source for this article. I haven't assessed it for reliability and I'm not very familiar with this area, but it does appear to be a very contemporary account by a generally reliable and then well-regarded scholar. It does have some rather obvious biases so Browne's scholarship may have been discredited by later scholarship. Someone actually familiar with the area will have to make the judgement, is what I'm saying. Xover (talk) 09:58, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
