Erroneous cladogram in "Classification and phylogeny" section edit
I have out-commented the cladogram, because it differs from the phylogeny as presented in the cited source, and as given doesn't even support the inclusion of "Longula" in Agaricus!
A.silvaticus (subgenus Pseudochitonia, outside consensus clades "IV/VI" in the cited source) is the outgroup among the 6 taxa used here. A.lanipes/maskae/subrutilescens form a clade (subgenus Spissicaulis, "I/C"), with the former two being sisters. A.aridicola (subgenus Minores, "I/B") and A.deserticola (subgenus Flavoagaricus, outside "I/A") are another clade, which is sister to the Spissicaulis clade.
In Newick format, it should be ( silvaticus, ( (aridicola, deserticola), ( (lanipes, maskae), subrutilescens ) ) )
