Talk:African Party for the Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde

The article says: "Guerilla warfare against the Portuguese in Guinea (not in Cape Verde, however, as logistical reasons prevented an armed struggle on the islands) began in March 1962 with an abortive attack by PAIGC guerillas on Praia."

This is strange, since Praia is in Cape Verde (it is the capital).

The article says :"Portugal was on the verge of bunkruptcy". this is not accurate,Portugal was doing quite well economicaly even with three war fronts. A coup de etat happened mainly because of career issues within the army and not because of bankruptcy. Actually at the time Portugal had 900 tons of gold. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.155.216.65 (talk) 00:06, 4 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
