China waives interest-free loans for 23 countries edit
So China just waived interest-free loans for 23 countries. African nations are asking the USA, IMF, World Bank to do the same and is getting crickets. Sounds like Debt trap debunking yet again. CaribDigita (talk) 17:57, 27 August 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, and the forgiveness by China is already in this Wiki article as well. And agreed - the idea of a Chinese "debt trap" of Africa is incorrect. JArthur1984 (talk) 19:15, 27 August 2022 (UTC)
Merging edit
Shouldn't it be merged with "China-Africa economic relations"? Pingijno (talk) 11:07, 24 August 2023 (UTC)
- It makes sense from an organizational standpoint, but what would the combined length of the proposed merged article be? It could be inconveniently long. JArthur1984 (talk) 12:43, 24 August 2023 (UTC)
