Controversies edit

The controversies section currently has a presented viewpoint that implicitly gives a positive spin to the stampede. This does not fit under a "controversies" section and is more appropriate for a "reception" section as long as it's notable and relevant to the article. Please, see 2021 Africa Cup of Nations for reference. The statements by the Omani representatives and AGCFF affect the neutrality as judgmental language is used. There is no Arabian gulf on the eath but persian gulf edit

Seems you guys have to go back school and study geography, once again. 50.64.37.127 (talk) 20:49, 21 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Who says there is an Arabian gulf? Do you refer to the name of the competition? That name is not invented by the Wikipedia community, so you should talk to the organizers. :) (I interpret the name as being a "Gulf Cup for Arabians". That is a cup for the Gulf region and for Arabs.) Fomalhaut76 (talk) 10:57, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
