I plan to create a page similar to this for the 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022 elections.

This also only includes elected attorney generals in US states. For example, the infobox says that Republicans control 22 offices and Democrats control 21. Those numbers are inaccurate if you include appointed offices and territorial offices.

Is there a plan to reference the material here? Many quantitative results are unreferenced, and I think that's a very uncomfortable situation. -- Mikeblas (talk) 21:38, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

I'm thinking more about the election results. These tables all have specific voting numbers, but have no references:

• Indiana Attorney General election, 2020
• Republican convention results
• 2020 Missouri Attorney General election
• (Montana) Republican primary results
• (Montana) Democratic primary results
• 2020 Vermont Attorney General election

Further, the "West Virginia" section is completely unreferenced. -- Mikeblas (talk) 00:57, 31 March 2021 (UTC)

The individual state results were pulled directly from their own articles, so that would mean that those are articles are also unreferenced. MrOinkingPig (talk) 17:25, 3 April 2021 (UTC)

Wow, what a mess! I've removed the unreferenced material from this article, and I'll get to work on the other articles. Text copied from one article to another must be attributed per WP:CWW, and here it wasn't. I'm not sure how that's remedied (or if it has to be?) -- Mikeblas (talk) 16:54, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

Orphaned references in 2020 United States Attorney General elections

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of 2020 United States Attorney General elections's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

DAGA and RAGA Chairs

I think it's a bit misleading to use DAGA and RAGA chairs as "leaders" for the infobox. The purpose of those organizations is not to win elections, but to use the Attorneys General's powers once their in office. Essentially, I think it's a bit misleading and we shouldn't have leaders on these pages because there aren't partisan Attorney General "leaders" MrOinkingPig (talk) 13:39, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
