It was proposed in this section that 2016 Bangladesh Championship League be renamed and moved to 2015–16 Bangladesh Championship League.

2016 Bangladesh Championship League → 2015–16 Bangladesh Championship League – To fit the apparent formal title of this league season, following the naming pattern of other seasons in the league (i.e. 2014–15 Bangladesh Championship League). The proposed title is currently a redirect to the 2014-15 season, I guess based on the dates the season was actually played, but it's the only season in this league named that way. We can add hatnotes to solve the ambiguity with these two seasons. Please see Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2023 August 9#2015–16 Bangladesh Championship League for more background. And the title of the article on the season that ran from late 2015 - early 2016 is 2014–15 Bangladesh Championship League, also for reasons I'm not clear on. I don't know why these two seasons are this way (the dates make at least some logical sense for the others: 2014 started Feb 2014; 2017 ran Aug-Nov 2017; 2018-19 ran Feb-May 2019). 2014-15 and 2015-16 are the only two in the series where the dates in the formal title don't match the dates the seasons were played, and this article is the only one in the series where our article title doesn't match the formal name of the season.
