Page Move edit

@Yerevanci: - When 2013 Los Angeles Airport shooting was merged into this page, it should have said so in the edit summary (for Copyright compliance purposes). As much of the content in this article was derived from that page, a move may have been more appropriate. C(u)w(t)C(c) 18:28, 1 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Actually, not "much of the content" of this article was moved from that article. The main thing I took from there is the infobox. I would have moved it, but this article already existed, so it needed to be deleted in order to make room for a move. --Երևանցի talk 18:39, 1 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sections edit

I think there is not enough context at this time to warrant the amount of level two headers now present on the page. Does anyone else agree? C(u)w(t)C(c) 19:34, 1 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Nope, all of these type of incidents are divided if now like this or somewhat like.Kennvido (talk) 20:42, 1 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Houston Shooting edit

Synopsis was erased, but it is important to note that the Houston shooting looks like a trial run of this one: 2013 George Bush Intercontinental Airport shooting by a man who shot at the ceiling and was shot by Homeland Security officers before shooting himself. He brought an AR-15 rifle in an unopened suitcase. Only difference is that the shooter used a handgun and did not use the long gun he had in the suitcase. Reports are the suspect has anti-government views and targeted TSA personell. Bachcell (talk) 20:55, 1 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Weapon edit

The "Smith & Wesson .223-caliber M&P15 assault rifle" statement is from U.S. Attorney Andre Birotte Jr. He apparently doesn't know this rifle, since it isn't an assault rifle and is chambered for 5.56 mm (although it will also fire .223). Thanks to those who caught this mistake. I suppose it's technically correct to say it's ".223-caliber" so I left that in even though it's misleading. a word missing? edit

In the "Suspect" section, I find this:

"The police left and could not file a report, because they had confirmation where he was."

It seems to me that the word "no" should be inserted in front of "confirmation". Please explain what was going on. I will not make the edit myself, because I don't know enough about this.

RFC at Smith & Wesson M&P15 edit
