Serb voters edit

this is not important right now, but eventually we will have to add some note becasue of the high relevance about the Serb voters in Mitrovica, etc. Did they vote or boycott? Are/will there be any Serb representation in Pristina?Lihaas (talk) 08:20, 4 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

to Kosovar/Kosova because that is the term used for people/things of kosovo, and the revert was not explained eitherLihaas (talk) 12:01, 4 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

This was discussed on the Kosovan parliamentary election, 2007 article. Kosovan is more neutral than Kosovar (which refers exclusively to the Albanian population). пﮟოьεԻ 57 12:30, 4 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Lihaas, Shouldn't the exit poll results be in section "Polls", and the official results in "Results"? Crnorizec (talk) 10:18, 13 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
I understand the confusion, but polls in these articles refer to the opinion judgements of potential voters before the election, the exit polls function as temp. resutls (and removed when official confirmations). Maybe we should call it "opinion polls"?Lihaas (talk) 10:20, 13 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

In a statement today, the MEPs wrote: “Serious allegations of fraud in two municipalities have been brought to the attention of the delegation. “The delegation encourages the political parties to follow proper legal procedures. “Identified perpetrators should be prosecuted promptly in line with the law in order to curtail the culture of impunity."

One senior diplomat says he witnessed “industrial-scale” fraud in the central region of Skenderaj; another says that in the same area the words “vote count” should be substituted by “vote cook”.

FER disputes election results

Translation of http://www.telegrafi.com/?id=2&a=11823

The New Spirit Party (FER) does not accept the preliminary findings of extraordinary parliamentary elections presented by the CEC due to abuse and manipulation throughout Kosovo, assessing that the institutions that emerge from them are illegitimate.

In a response to say that's fair election day its activists have been witnessing the manipulation of the free vote throughout Kosovo with the cases of all kinds, such as

  • constant pressure from representatives of PDK in the marking of voters votes,
  • the vote outside the polling station selling for 20 euros in Mitrovica;
  • physical threat from the PDK representative to monitor the party, not allowing the filling of the complaint of irregularities in the polling station, conduct additional votes at the polls by persons suspected;
  • arrival boxes with the same figure by counting center Drenas;
  • attendance voting, exit polling station despite the person responsible for the detection of fingerprints;
  • attendance despite the failure of the detector stations throughout election day;
  • not detecting the ink on the finger of detectors that allegedly have been in operation.

"All these and many other cases of irregularities during election day fair has submitted to the PZAP with adequate evidence. -FER believes that these and many other violations, reported throughout Kosovo by this subject and other political entities, with the now unquestioned manipulations in the Drenas Skenderaj, substantially affect the outcome of these elections and make the election to be conclusively illegitimate," says the FER's response. / Telegraph /

poll results edit

here is a copy of the offical results : http://www.prizrenliler.org/content/view/1040/1/

It has all the numbers, need to type them in. FER for example hat 15559 votes, 2.2%

i cant read it, but if you can then youre more than welcome to add in a table. Somethign like the party list already on but with columns for the results.you can also create a seperate template and then work that into this with transclusiosns.
we also need sources on the total seats given.
and then an expansion on the "analsys" section can go in. Why would the Serb list support the DPK i dont know?Lihaas (talk) 22:50, 15 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
It is just a table of numbers, nothing to read much.

PDK - 238959 vota ose 33.5 % LDK - 168120 vota ose 23.6 % VETËVENDOSJE - 86924 vota ose 12.2 % AAK - 76859 vota ose 10.8 % AKR - 50720 vota ose 7.1 % LDD - 23337 vota ose 3.3 % FER - 15559 vota ose 2.2 %

Organ smuggling allegations edit

Hi, I have been following this story closely. I would suggest that It be moved to another article for the simple reason that it is not exactly clear if any of these allegations are new, and what it has to do with the election. thanks, mike James Michael DuPont (talk) 11:24, 17 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I think its relevant here was based on the same story that drew parallels "Its release comes as Thaci, a former key leader in the KLA, tries to form a coalition government after claiming victory in last week's election."(Lihaas (talk) 17:05, 21 December 2010 (UTC)).Reply
Look, I first tried to add the refs to the election article, because martys report was prereleased on the day of the election, that was removed because it was not NPOV. According to that logic, the connection between the election and the organ smuggling allegations is POV. there is no strong connection, everyone can have their own POV. if you want to add it back in, then first add in the fact about the date of the report release. or you can mention in this article that on the same day of the election that the report was released and point them over to the other article. But i think we should keep them separate unless there are strong reasons to connect them. 13:01, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
Makes sense. Do you want to add that first and then continue with this.
i think you, as the initiator should add that and then ill copy edit adding the rest.

telegrafi article edit

http://www.telegrafi.com/?id=2&a=11911

Chief State Prosecutor, Ismet Kabashi has engaged prosecutors from seven municipal prosecutors to Kosovo to deal with the collection of evidence in the elections of 12 December.

Initially, prosecutors will be collecting evidence of abuse in these elections, abuses that pushes the Central Election Commission decide to revote in three municipalities in Kosovo, following the recommendation that the Panel had made Election Complaints and Appeals, writes Koha Ditore.

Tests that have been on hand PZAP's judges, will now pass into the hands of prosecutors for criminal prosecution.

Meanwhile, according to newspaper sources, the total number of commissioners in the three municipalities where the revote is about a thousand.

"I have appointed a prosecutor in the State Prosecutor's Office will coordinate the work. I wanted the responsibility of all county prosecutors to monitor the municipal chief prosecutors and seek reports from them, while county prosecutors every day will report to the State Prosecutor, "said Chief Kabashi.

He is arguing for not launching an investigation so far that there may be investigations without providing evidence and materials from PZAP's. He has promised that after receiving them will be reviewed on a shortest term.

"We started collecting data, because the other part of the investigation phase. At this stage, prosecutors will provide everyone within the territorial jurisdiction of all complaints submitted and the CEC's PZAP "said Kabashi. / Telegraph /

In the municipalities of Glogovac, Decani (western Kosovo) and Srbica, the elections will be repeated on January 9 on account of electoral frauds. Many political parties violated the election law even during the election campaign. For that reason, the Elections Complaints and Appeals Panel fined political parties EUR 330,000 in total.
