Started the Article. Please correct any mistake. I'll post pictures I took of the Montreal march later. - Sepper 17:03, 18 Mar 2005 (UTC)

The McGill day of action was just as "observed" as Concordia's (which is, granted, pathetic). It's high time people realized that Concordia's radical tradition is asleep, if not dead.

Changing all references to "boycotts" to "strikes". edit

To describe a student strike as a boycott was unheard of back in 2005 so the term boycott should not be used here at all.--Xiaoshan Math (talk) 15:43, 26 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
The protests of 2005 are more or less identical to the current protests, except at a smaller scale. We should strive to keep the nomenclature consistent and most of all, accurate. I'm not against mentioning that the student associations call their walkouts "strikes", but the fact is it remains an inaccurate term.--MTLskyline (talk) 00:35, 27 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
If you really feel that all student strikes that have articles here are boyoctts instead, we'd have to modify every article accordingly. Thus far, the boycott-strike edit war is waged on 3 pages: the student protest page, as well as the 2005 and 2012 Quebec student strike pages. Unless the context of the student strikes whose pages are unaffected by that edit war were such that the students then on strike had a legal right to do so at the time, I'm afraid this war will be waged on other student strike pages until the boycott-strike dispute is resolved.--Xiaoshan Math (talk) 15:36, 27 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
