So...should we state the obvious? edit

Clearly this 'election' was as fraudulent as such an exercise could ever be, but should something to that effect be added to the article? Were there statements at the time by the usual international election observers to the effect that the obvious (that it was not fair and free) was true? Naturally any reasonable adult reader will not need such a disclaimer, but for the sake of accessibility and for preventing even one misinterpretation by a reader, ought we not tell the reader that the 'results' already provided in the article are comically illegitimate? Do you have a reliable source? 78.82.35.151 (talk) 18:56, 10 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

What percentage did Saddam reached in the kurdish areas in the North? edit

107 percent?

Seriously, why is there is no valid criticism mentioned in the article dealing with this scam election? 80.131.53.4 (talk) 18:26, 23 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Obvious should be stated edit

Commenting here to remind myself to find a source that acknowledges that this was bogus. Zanahary (talk) 19:29, 12 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
