Merging edit

Merging Issues:

I think "Randy and Pamela Copus" should be merged into this article, not vice versa. Thoughts?

  • I'm not familiar enough with the subjects to say one way or the other. I do think they should be merged. Perhaps look at some of the editors of Randy and Pamela Copus and ask the queston of someone who did significant editing. Glad to see action! --Stormbay 17:28, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • I'm sure of that one, I started this article because I wanted to make a more detailed article, and I believe they should be found under their group name. (It took me hours to find them by other means)

    • Fair enough, then. (as far as I'm concerned). Happy editing! --Stormbay 23:40, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
I agree that the 'Randy and Pamela Copus' info should be merged into this page, as most people will be looking for the '2002' group, as that is what their album band group name is. BTW, it is indeed rather hard to search for their info, because of their name "2002" being so general that web search routines think you are looking for a year reference. Also, as there is some duplicate info between the two pages, combining would limit redundancy (redundancy). ;)
I added the External Links section to the 2002 page. And have done a lot of web research on them, as I enjoy their music. So I may add more info as time permits. I have collected album cover images which I could paste in, if that seems appropriate (not sure, seems that some band pages do, some don't. Guess I'll hold off on album covers for time being.)
After combining info into the '2002' band page, we could put a wiki-redirect "#REDIRECT 2002 (band)" on the 'Randy and Pamela Copus' page, so people looking for them by name will not get lost. . --Beginnersview 09:11, 4 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I started a dialog with Randy and Pamela about updating the info and they have graciously given me permission to add info. (though, they said that such permission was probably not necessary...) . --Beginnersview 21:52, 4 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:2002.PNG edit

Image:2002.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Merger proposal edit

It has been suggested that Randy and Pamela Copus be merged into 2002 (band) as the two Copus' do not appear to be notable outside their band. Both articles are stubs and would benefit from being merged into one.
