unreferenced strong statement edit

"However, that "initiative" is widely perceived as being staged by the oligarchs from Kuchma's inner circle in order to preserve their influence and prevent superpopular Viktor Yushchenko from winning the next presidential election. The legal grounds and circumstances of the referendum have been hardly questioned by the Ukrainian opposition." - well, that's quite rude and have little or no factual evidency. --K-n04 18:59, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)

You're right, but please regard it purely as a result of current stubbiness of the article. Biasing of ther refrendum was its essence. I was just too lazy and busy for listing the refrences (which could number in thousands). So, please SOMEBODY BACK MY PASSAGE OR REMOVE IT AT ALL. I'M NO POV-PUSHER, BUT A PASSIONATE CRUSADER AGAINST IT. AlexPU
Well, but there's thousands of references for both points of view. While that biasing was not proved by any court, there is no point in expressing that in Wikipedia.

I was about to raise this very issue here at talk, but I found it was raised earlier. While the referendum was brought up in a questionable way, such strong statements cannot be allowed to stay unreferenced for long. Unless someone rewrites this with acceptable refs, I will have to remove this info. Firstly, it is POV, secondly I don't understand the meaning " The legal grounds and circumstances of the referendum have been hardly questioned by the Ukrainian opposition." Does it mean it was OK from the opposition's standpoint. How did the questions intervened with VAYu's prospects to accend to presidency? Please elaborate. --Irpen 21:51, 2 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Q3, Q4 edit

Also, if the voters approved Q3 and Q4, the reader would be interested to know why those were not implemented into the consitution. This would be useful, unlike speculations above. --Irpen 21:54, 2 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

The will of people was not implemented, and anyone who raise a question about federalization are labeled as separatist — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.120.137.72 (talk) 00:32, 22 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
