I think the score is wrong for england/wales on september 20th 1947 - I know youtube isn't a reliable source, but it certainly suggests (search "who was roy francis") that was wales 10 england 8 - and this page List_of_England_national_rugby_league_team_results#1940s agrees with that.

Either way - the final standings table doesn't show the same total results for England in terms of wins (based on the numbers in the article it would be 2 wins for England, and if you make correction I suggest above, then only 1 win), which suggest this page is inaccurate.
