Ta Khmau (Khmer: តាខ្មៅ [taː kʰmaw]; lit.'black grandpa') is the capital and largest city of Kandal province in central Cambodia. The city is about 11 km (7 mi) south of Phnom Penh (directly borders Phnom Penh).
