Snæfellsbær (Icelandic pronunciation: [ˈstnaiːˌfɛlsˌpaiːr̥]) is a municipality located in western Iceland, in the southwestern part of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula Its administrative centre is Hellissandur and the majority of the residents live in Ólafsvík then Hellissandur and Rif.
