The Kanchanjungha Express is an Express train belonging to Eastern Railway zone that runs between Sealdah and Silchar in India. It is currently being operated with 13175/13176 train numbers on a tri-weekly basis.[1][2][3][4]

It is named after the Kangchenjunga peak of the Himalayan Mountains of Sikkim which is seen from New Jalpaiguri as previously when this train was introduced in the 1960s it was between Sealdah and New Jalpaiguri (Siliguri).

Sealdah Silchar Kanchanjungha Express is hauled by WAP-7 or WAP-4 Locomotive of Electric Loco Shed of either Howrah or Sealdah- from Sealdah till Jagiroad. Then the train is hauled by Diesel Loco Shed, Siliguri-based WDP-4B till Silchar.A banker is usually attached between Lumding and Badarpur.
