Sayak Chakraborty

Sayak Chakraborty (born 27 September 1994)[1][8] is a Bengali actor and YouTuber[9] who works in Bengali cinema.[10] He is known for his portrayal as Krishna in the TV serial Mahaprabhu Sri Chaitanya, a mythological show, and Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni[11] a historical drama show which airs on Zee Bangla. He has also appeared in Belashuru, a family drama film directed by Nandita Roy, presently working in TV serial Mangalmayee Maa Sitala[12]for Sun Bangla.

Chakraborty performed as a junior artist, from 2006 to 2013, in various Bengali TV serials and films.[3]

He is known for his portrayal as Krishna in the TV serial Mahaprabhu Sri Chaitanya, a mythological show, and Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni[11] a historical drama show which airs on Zee Bangla. He worked in 20 consecutive TV serials as supporting cast.[13] and The Light: Swami Vivekananda (2013). In 2020, he appeared in Bela Shuru, a family drama film directed by Nandita Roy. In 2024 he has completed 12 years of his acting career.[14]

Chakraborty entered Times Of India's Most Desirable Men of 2020 at 10th position.[49]He became a famous YouTube vlogger in Kolkata, with 500k plus subscribers on YouTube and 500k plus followers on Facebook[50]
