Robert Martin (born September 4, 1995) is an American football running back for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Rutgers and was signed by the Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2018.

College careerEdit

Martin attended Rutgers University, where he played for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights football team from 2014-2017. He is tenth all-time in rushing yards for the team.[1]

Professional careerEdit

New York GiantsEdit

After going undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Giants signed him on May 14 following the team's mincamp.[2] On September 5, 2018, Martin was waived to make room for linebacker Nate Stupar.[3] He was signed to the team's practice squad a day later.[4] He signed a reserve/future contract with the Giants on January 2, 2019.[5]
