Pakistan at the 2022 Asian Games

Pakistan competed at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, which was held from 23 September 2023 to 8 October 2023. Originally, the event was scheduled to held in September 2022[2] but due to COVID-19 pandemic cases rising in China the event was postponed and rescheduled to 23 September to 8 October 2023.[3][4]

Asian Games appearances (overview)

Pakistan sent a delegation of 189 athletes (comprising 136 male and 53 female) across 24 sports, along with 72 officials to the event. As on 1 October 2023.[5][6][7]

Kishmala Talat won Pakistan its first ever Asian Games medal in shooting.[8]

Pakistan disappointingly only won three medals at these games, the fewest it has ever won at the Asian Games.[9]
