"Once in a Lifetime" was the Estonian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2000, performed in English by Ines. It is an up-tempo number, with Ines singing about her need to take life by the horns as she is only seventeen once (she was in fact 18 at the time).

The song was performed fourth on the night (following the United Kingdom's Nicki French with "Don't Play That Song Again" and preceding France's Sofia Mestari with "On aura le ciel"). At the close of voting, it had received 98 points, placing 4th in a field of 24.
Prior the contest in Stockholm, Ines was a clear favourite and was predicted to win by numerous polls and votings.
