Mormonad
(Redirected from MormonAd)
A Mormonad is a poster which appeared in each issue of the New Era, a magazine published by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They first appeared in the 1970s.
Mormonads are designed to provide spiritual or moral messages to their readers (who do not have to be LDS). They are usually found as one-page posters in the New Era. Mormonads usually feature a brief message, scripture reference from the church's scriptures, and a photo-illustration or painting supporting it.
