The Misery River is a 24.2-mile-long (38.9 km)[2] river on the Keweenaw Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan.

It is formed from the outflow of Lake Roland in Houghton County, Michigan at 46°53′00″N 88°51′32″W / 46.88333°N 88.85889°W / 46.88333; -88.85889[1] near Twin Lakes State Park and flows into Misery Bay on Lake Superior at 46°59′58″N 88°58′51″W / 46.99944°N 88.98083°W / 46.99944; -88.98083.[1]
