Metro (U.S. newspaper)
Metro is a free daily newspaper in the United States.[third-party source needed] It is distributed free in New York (Metro New York), Boston (Metro Boston) and Philadelphia (Metro Philadelphia). The first edition was dated May 5, 2004. Launched by the Swedish company Metro International, the American editions were sold to Seabay Media Holdings, owned by former Metro International CEO Pelle Törnberg, in 2009. and as of 2018 are published by SB New York and Metro Boston.
