ReceptionEdit

"Machayenge" became popular on TikTok.[2][3] Many celebrities such as Deven Shahane, Varun Dhawan, Sanya Malhotra and Sherlyn Chopra have been seen dancing to the hit song.[4][5][6] The music video reached more than 250 million views on YouTube.[7] "Machayenge" is Emiway's most popular song.

This success landed Emiway his first ever inter-city tour, signed by Artist Aloud, after "Machayenge"'s release.[8][9][10][11] He toured major cities in India including Mumbai, Pune, Baroda, Bangalore, Delhi, Gurgaon and Goa.

ControversyEdit

The song sounded similar to KSHMR's track "My Best Life" and hence the community accused Bantai for stealing the music but later it was cleared that the music was sampled from KSHMR's Sounds of KSHMR Vol.3 which is supposed to be used for other purposes including commercial.[12]
