This is a list of snack foods by country, specific to or originating in a particular community or region. Snack food is a portion of food often smaller than a regular meal, generally eaten as snacking between meals.[1] Snacks come in a variety of forms including packaged and processed foods and items made from fresh ingredients at home.

Kripik   Deep fried chips or crisps made from sliced foods in Indonesia
Kripik pisang Banana chips from Indonesia
Krupuk   Deep fried crackers made from starch and other ingredients for taste, from Indonesia and other parts of East and Southeast Asia
Krupuk putih Cassava crackers from Indonesia
Krupuk udang Prawn crackers from Indonesia
Mie goreng   Fried noodles from Indonesia
Nasi goreng   Fried rice from Indonesia
Pempek   A delicacy made of fish and tapioca from Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia
Satay   A dish of marinated, skewered and grilled meats, served with a sauce from Sumatra, Indonesia
Siomay   Also referred to as somay; a steamed fish dumpling with vegetables served in peanut sauce from Indonesia
Taoge goreng A mung bean sprouts and noodle salad from Indonesia

Coxinha A chopped or shredded chicken meat, covered in dough and molded into a shape resembling a chicken leg, battered and fried.
Paçoca A Brazilian candy made out of ground peanuts, sugar and salt.
Pastel A half-circle or rectangle-shaped thin crust pies with assorted fillings, fried in vegetable oil.
