Kayalı, Şırnak
Kayalı (Syriac: Kefshenne,[1] Kurdish: Kefşin[2]) is a village in İdil district of Şırnak Province, Turkey. Kayalı is between the cities of Midyat and İdil near the Syriac Orthodox Mor Gabriel Monastery. While the village was historically Assyrian-populated, the current population is Kurdish of the Omerkan tribe.[1][3]
