John Swain (rugby union)

John Patterson Swain (23 October 1899 – 29 August 1960) was a New Zealand rugby union player. A hooker, Swain represented Hawke's Bay and Wellington at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, on their 1928 tour of South Africa. He played 16 matches on that tour, including all four internationals.[1]
