Jindřichovice pod Smrkem (German: Heinersdorf an der Tafelfichte) is a municipality and village in Liberec District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 600 inhabitants.

The village of Dětřichovec is an administrative part of Jindřichovice pod Smrkem.

Geography edit

Jindřichovice pod Smrkem is located about 24 km (15 mi) northeast of Liberec, in a salient region of Frýdlant Hook on the border with Poland. It lies in the Frýdlant Hills. The highest point is the Hřebenáč hill at 566 m (1,857 ft) above sea level. The stream Jindřichovický potok flows through the municipality.

Notable is the ruin of the Church of Saint James the Great. It was a late Romanesque church from the second half of the 13th century.[2]
