Janice Loeb (c. 1902-1913 to 1996[citation needed]) was an American film director, screenwriter, cinematographer, and producer known for In the Street (1948), The Quiet One (1949) and The Stairs (1950).[1] Two years prior to The Quiet One's release, Janice Loeb, as producer, formed the company Film Documents with director Sidney Meyers, cinematographer Helen Levitt, and co-producer William Levitt.[2]
