PlotEdit

The story features a past-to-present format where the events from the past will give context to the current day centered in the fictional city of Hermoso.

In the past, a fire burned down the only church in Hermoso which caused people to lose their faith in God due to the tragedy. Fatima Cruz was a member of Dakilang Sinag, a rebel group targeted by the military led by Samuel Cordero. The two eventually meet when the former took care of the latter after an explosion during a military operation against the rebel group in question.

Mira's quest to unearth her mother's whereabouts leads her to the town of Hermoso. One night, tragedy strikes when Mira falls victim to a hit-and-run accident, which seemingly kills her. Mira then regains consciousness; believing her accident to be non-fatal, but she soon finds out that she was actually dead.

Joy is placed under the care of her step-mother's family due to her father's duties as a serviceman, leaving her no choice but to stay at Hermoso. Uncovering her half-sister's involvement with party drugs, Joy's attempts to reach her father fails when she gets into a car accident which kills her via brain hemorrhage according to medical examination. However, Joy also rises from the dead much to everyone's shock.

The lives of Mira and Joy will intertwine as they share the same experience — resurrection. Complications arise when they become the talk of Hermoso's curious, judgmental townspeople. Bound by their apparent miraculous resurrection, together, they will face trials as they deal with diverse people who exhibit different morals, beliefs and values, all while attempting to relieve everyone's faith on God.
