Hussein Ali (born 1 March 2002) is a professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Eredivisie club Heerenveen.[1] Born in Sweden, Ali represented his country of birth at youth international level, before switching allegiances to Iraq in 2023.

Club career edit
On 19 July 2022, Ali joined Eredivisie side Heerenveen on a three-year contract.[2]
International career edit
Ali represented Sweden at youth international level.[3]
In August 2023, he officially switched allegiances to Iraq, and received his first call-up to the senior national team for the 2023 King's Cup.[3]
