Hanwha Techwin is a surveillance, aeronautics, optoelectronics, automations and weapons technology company,[1] founded in April 2018. Its mother company is Hanwha Aerospace.[2]

At the first, Samsung Techwin was founded in 1977 and it is sold to Hanwha group by Samsung group in 2015. Then the company's name was changed to Hanwha Techwin. In April 2018, Hanwha Techwin changed its name to Hanwha Aerospace and splited its security (CCTV) division, as new Hanwha Techwin. So the daughter company has the same to its mother company's former name.
