HistoryEdit

The band had its origins in the early 1990s, when Tjahyadi and Warnanta were in a band that performed in cafes in Bandung.[2] In 1994, they decided to complete in the All West Java and Jakarta Band Festival in Bandung, West Java, and recruited additional members over the phone. They won the competition and began recording.

CareerEdit

Their debut album, titled Five Minutes (1995), was followed by Five Minutes 2 (1996), Romantik (1997), Ouw! (1997), Sekat (2002), and The Best +5 (2004). The drummer, Dicky, left the group in 1997, and Sanny, the guitarist, left in 2004, after the album The Best + 5. The band took a three-year hiatus, but Ricky remained active, backing up Ari Lasso and writing songs for the band Dewa 19s. Some of the songs were written by Ricky for Ari Lasso are "Hampa", "Arti Cinta", "Kedamaian Hati", and "Seandainya". In addition, Ricky also wrote songs for Titi DJ, Rossa, Tere, Sania, and others.

The band re-formed in 2007, with new members Richie on vocals, Roelhilman on guitar, and Aria Yudishthira on druma. They released the album Rockmantic, and the single "Bertahan" received significant airplay. The song "Salah Apa" debuted at the #1 position, and stayed there for 10 weeks.[citation needed]
